About Ronald Weaver Jr

Ronald Weaver Jr is a music business and A&R professional dedicated to discovering and developing emerging talent. After earning his BFA in Music Technology from Bowie State University, where he explored everything from audio engineering to composition, he gained hands-on industry experience through internships in PR,marketing, and A&R with OceanFive Records, Independent Co, and Another Flood Production. At OceanFive, he created artist bios and electronic press kits that supported media campaigns and college-radio outreach, while at Another Flood he scouted and booked three artists for Lucas Flood’s Not Another Showcase at The Hotel Café in Los Angeles.

Building on that foundation, he is now pursuing his M.A. in Music Business & Industry at West Virginia University, deepening his understanding of copyright, publishing, and the business strategies that shape today’s music landscape.
